Housing Manager - Mid Market Rent
Location: Glasgow with possible travel throughout Scotland
Type: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw)
Salary: £32,000 pa plus benefits including Health Cash Plan
Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mid-Market Housing Manager to join Home Group's dedicated housing team. As our Housing Manager, you will be the face-to-face support for our communities, delivering excellent services and engaging actively with residents.
Responsibilities
1. Engage with customers and communities through visibility and proactive estate management.
2. Manage multiple patches and neighborhoods, supported by Housing Assistants.
3. Handle arrears, voids, and anti-social behavior, responding to queries and complaints to meet KPIs.
4. Coordinate with legal teams regarding tribunal cases and liaise with partners and authorities.
5. Conduct estate inspections, engage with contractors, and perform safety and compliance checks.
6. Support factored owners and collaborate with the Factored Housing Manager as needed.
About You
1. Experience in housing management, understanding of housing law, and familiarity with universal credit.
2. Letting Agent Qualification with at least one year of experience preferred.
3. Organized, proactive, and customer-focused with resilience to challenges.
4. Confident in working with external stakeholders including local authorities and MPs.
5. Enjoy working independently in the community while being part of a supportive team.

Job Details
1. This role is hybrid; approximately 3 days per week in community patches and the rest in Glasgow office or home.
2. Flexible working hours are available; discuss your preferences at interview.
3. Requires a vehicle insured for business use; mileage will be reimbursed.
4. A Standard DBS check is required; costs covered by us.
