The Role: As an Autism Student Support Worker, you will: Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Use strategies such as PECs, visual timetables, and sensory activities to aid communication and engagement Promote independence, self-regulation, and emotional wellbeing Collaborate with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver personalised support plans Create a calm, structured, and predictable learning environment Ideal Candidate: Previous experience supporting individuals with Autism is highly desirable A patient, calm, and consistent approach Understanding of ASC and associated communication or sensory needs A genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply) Whether you’re an experienced support worker or a psychology graduate seeking classroom experience, we welcome your application.
