The company is expanding into North America, the largest river cruise market, requiring an upgrade of its digital platform to suit this new market.
Role Purpose:
Riviera offers a fixed-term opportunity (9-12 months) for a North America Website Manager to enhance the digital performance of a new platform tailored to the US market. The role focuses on optimizing the website to increase leads and sales, supporting marketing channels, and collaborating with stakeholders and the Digital & E-Commerce Team to meet business goals.
* Lead e-commerce marketing strategies for the North American website to boost leads, sales, and revenue, supporting customer acquisition and retention.
* Create and update engaging, SEO-optimized content tailored to the US market, understanding market nuances.
* Support product launches with content creation, imagery, and consistency across markets.
* Develop a trading calendar aligned with seasonal trends and booking targets, enhancing customer journey and funnel metrics.
* Manage financial reporting, build dashboards, analyze trends, and implement improvements to e-commerce performance.
* Identify customer journey pain points, test improvements through CRO, and work with the Product Owner.
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain competitiveness.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
* Management experience in e-commerce trading and merchandising with proven growth results.
* Strong digital marketing knowledge and best practices.
* Excellent English writing skills, attention to detail, and correct spelling/grammar.
* Preferably familiar with the US market.
* Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret data and inform strategy.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
* Knowledge of digital channels including email, paid media, SEO, and social media.
* Travel industry experience is advantageous.
