About the role: The principal responsibility of the Contingency, Operations & Events Planner is to support the Force and the community it serves by: Researching, co-ordinating, preparing, distributing, exercising, reviewing, and updating all key operational, business continuity and emergency planning requirements on behalf of Devon & Cornwall Police and Dorset Police. Work in Safety Advisory Groups with key partners and stakeholders to provide appropriate advice and ensure the efficient and effective use of police resources within core responsibilities. Identify and manage operational threats and risks, ensuring the appointment of appropriate command structures.
