Head of Tech Operational Excellence & Transformation

We are seeking a Head of Tech Operational Excellence & Transformation to lead our transformation office, ensuring operational productivity, financial readiness, and strategic delivery as the organization scales and evolves.
Role Purpose
Lead the transformation office, overseeing cost planning, operational excellence, and cross-functional change initiatives. Act as a trusted partner to the executive team, delivering measurable productivity gains and building a scalable governance model.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead transformation programs including organizational redesign, budget realignment, and shared capabilities rollout.
* Develop and maintain the central technology cost model (CAPEX/OPEX, financial reporting).
* Oversee transversal programs such as capacity rebalancing and workplace transformation initiatives.
* Run SteerCo cycles with senior stakeholders across technology, finance, and product functions.
* Define and track key KPIs: cost per feature, productivity index, on-time delivery, engineering burn rates.
* Partner with Finance & Procurement on budget planning, vendor strategy, and resource allocation.
* Drive portfolio prioritization and orchestrate resources across delivery teams.
Expectations
* Deliver 10–15% year-on-year productivity improvements through transformation initiatives.
* Ensure full visibility and accurate forecasting of all major transformation costs and savings.
* Establish a scalable transformation governance model recognized by executive leadership.
* Position the organization as a benchmark for tech operational excellence and cost transparency.
Requirements:
* 10+ years in tech transformation, financial planning, or COO/CIO office roles (enterprise/consulting).
* Strong expertise in tech cost structures, portfolio management, and cross-functional governance.
* Proven success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder transformation initiatives.
* Advanced skills in financial tools (SAP, cost modeling, Excel) and analytics.
* Familiarity with regulatory reporting, board-level budgeting, and IT compliance frameworks.
* Analytical, structured, and diplomatic with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
