Description: Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker Children Location: Northampton, UK Salary: £36,000 per annum £6,000 for sleep-ins Employment Type: Permanent We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team in Northampton. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting. This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package. Key Responsibilities: * Provide direct care and support to children in a residential setting * Ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of the children * Create a safe and nurturing environment for the children * Develop and implement care plans for each child, in collaboration with other team members * Act as a positive role model for the children and promote their independence and life skills * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports * Participate in staff meetings, training, and supervision sessions * Support and guide junior staff members in their roles * Liaise with external agencies and professionals as required * Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations Requirements: * Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children in a residential setting * NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong leadership and management skills * Ability to work effectively as part of a team * Knowledge of child development and safeguarding procedures * Flexible approach to work, including willingness to work sleep-ins and weekends * Valid UK driver's license and access to a vehicle If you are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and have the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
