The Opportunity An ambitious and high-achieving 11–18 academy in the West Bridgford area is seeking a motivated Geography Teacher to join its team from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent post teaching Geography across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A-Level where required. You’ll play a key role in shaping an engaging and forward-looking Geography curriculum that connects students to the physical and human world. You will guide students through GCSE and A-Level qualifications where applicable, supporting independent research, investigation and spatial analysis. Collaboration is central: the department shares resources, co-plans fieldwork, and continually refines schemes of work using feedback and evidence of impact. Beyond the classroom, you may lead or co-lead field trips (local, national or international), coordinate city studies or environmental projects, support eco-schools initiatives, or embed real-world geography in school life.
