We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about making a difference in patients' lives. In this role, you'll work closely with our pharmacy team and multidisciplinary teams on the wards, providing direct patient care.
At Royal Papworth, we offer extensive training and development opportunities, including rotations through key departments such as surgery, cardiology, and thoracic medicine as well as dispensary. As part of our team, you'll assist with essential services such as discharge medicine preparation, medicines reconciliation, patient consultations, and developing our current service. Depending on your experience, you may also be involved in supervising and training junior staff and pre-registration pharmacy professionals.

Qualifications
Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
BTEC and / or NVQ 3 in Pharmacy Services
Demonstrable numeracy and Literacy skills (GCSE level or equivalent
Experience
Able to communicate clinical information to colleagues, patients and relatives on the phone, face to face and in written formats
Able to plan own and other team members workload
Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team and deal professionally with patients, relatives and colleagues
Aware of personal and professional limitations
Able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
Able to respond to change and apply new developments without difficulty
Previous hospital experience
Previous ward experience
