CMD Films produces football-based content across multiple channels, reaching millions of viewers. We are seeking an experienced, highly organised Head of Production to oversee and coordinate all aspects of production across the company.

Requirements
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Proven leadership and team management experience
* Strong knowledge of video production processes
* Experience managing shoots, crews, schedules, and budgets
* Confident decision-making, particularly under pressure
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively
* High level of organisation and administrative capability (e.g. managing emails and calendars)
* Familiarity with the ChrisMD YouTube channel and the UK YouTube landscape
* Interest in football and pop culture (preferred)
* Passion for producing high-quality content
* Positive attitude towards feedback and continuous learning
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work
* Based in London or able to travel to London at least three times per week, alongside remote and on-location work
Responsibilities
* Oversee pre-production and shoot execution across all CMD Films channels, including ChrisMD, Chris Dixon, and ChrisMD but shorter
* Plan and manage production schedules across multiple concurrent projects
* Lead pre-production, including logistics, locations, permits, risk assessments, purchasing and crew coordination
* Manage a network of freelancers
* Coordinate travel and accommodation for cast and crew
* Work closely with the Company Director and the Head of Edit to deliver creative vision
* Manage budgets, track spend, and negotiate costs
* Ensure productions are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively
* Conceptualising and developing ideas as part of a team to create interesting and engaging videos
* Manage invoices and purchase orders in collaboration with the finance team
* Support office operations, including equipment sourcing, transporting equipment and liaising with suppliers and services
* Transportation of equipment to shoots
* Hold monthly ‘check in’ meetings with each member of the production team
Additional Duties
* Act as Health & Safety Officer (with external HR guidance)
* Serve as Fire Safety Officer and First Aider (training provided)
* Support recruitment processes, including reviewing applications and interviewing candidates
* Liaise with HR on leave approvals and general HR processes
* Undertake any other ad hoc tasks as required by the Company Director
