About The Role UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFE We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Psychologist t o join our team integrated Mental Health team at HMP Five Wells. HMP Five Wells is a category C resettlement prison based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, and houses around 1,780 patients aged 18. Within this role you will be working collaboratively with the mental health team to develop the psychologist services on site, and manage 2 Assistant Psychologist. In addition you will have a small caseload of patients with complex mental health needs. Hours The site currently offers a Monday to Friday- 08:30 to 16:30 work pattern with some flexibility We can offer this as a full time or part time role Salary This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £62,000 per annum - depending on experience. What you'll be doing As a Psychologist, your responsibilities will vary. You will Support the IMHT with assessment and interventions for complex patients, offer consultation/reflective practice to the team and clinical supervision to the assistant psychologists Undertake psychological assessments, supporting complex multi-disciplinary formulations and delivering psychological interventions for cases of great complexity. Be required to utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service. You will support the integrated mental health team in the overall development of the availability of evidence based therapies. Qualifications Satisfactory completion of a British Psychological Society accredited Doctoral Level postgraduate professional training course in clinical psychology Assessed experience of working as a qualified clinical/forensic/counselling psychologist for a minimum of 3 years post qualification.
