Job Title: Area Manager, Commercial Sales Department: Global Sales Location: Europe Position Summary: The Area Manager, Commercial Sales drives business growth across Europe by managing customer relationships, ensuring high service levels, and identifying new opportunities. Reporting to the Director, this role oversees market turnover, margins, and risk mitigation while collaborating with production planning to ensure product availability. The ideal candidate has strong sales execution, forecasting, and negotiation skills, with a proven track record in market development and revenue growth. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the short, medium, and long term. Ensure the achievement of annual sales targets and organization objectives. Analyze emerging trends and customer needs to identify, evaluate, and quantify new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong customer relationships across the sales network, ensuring exceptional service while proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities to drive growth objectives Proactively identify and mitigate business risks that could impact budget objectives, while overseeing market turnover and margin performance across the territory. Implement pricing strategies aligned with targets set by Director of Sales and Managing Director. Represent SIG SAUER at key industry events with the EU management team to enhance brand visibility, support marketing initiatives, and drive product adoption. Support Marketing & Product Director to organize events to support the launch of new products and the trial of existing products. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing order intake, resolving quality issues, and facilitating the introduction of new products to ensure a seamless customer experience. Collaborate closely with production planning teams to ensure product availability aligns with monthly budget targets. In cases of delays or shortages, develop and implement strategic mitigation plans to minimize impact and achieve business objectives Maintain compliance with 5S standards, safety protocols, and ISO procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the organizational needs. Education/Experience & Skills: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in sales management, market development, and strategic execution, within Europe, or equivalent experience and training. Demonstrated success in sales strategy implementation, customer relationship management, and business growth initiatives. Strong skills in forecasting, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration. Working Conditions: Based in Europe, with travel exceeding 50% of the time. Extended periods of desk work involving computer use and repetitive tasks. Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required. Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc.
