Are you looking for an opportunity to progress in store management? We're looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our home store team in Peterlee so we could be the perfect match!
Sun‑Sat pro rota & including bank holidays.
Responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager with the day‑to‑day running of the store and take full responsibility in their absence.
* Inspire and support staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects our values.
* Ensure highest standard of customer service.
* Achieve sales targets.
* Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising.
* Maximise sales through physical and digital channels.
* Support recruitment and development of volunteers.
* Achieve expectations within campaign activities.
* Collaborate with the manager to generate stock.
Our stores are fast‑paced and open 7 days a week, requiring flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Due to the volume of collections, deliveries and donations, the role can be physically demanding yet rewarding as you help fund life‑saving research.
Qualifications
* Experience in a customer‑facing role.
* Supervisory experience.
* Commercially driven, encouraging new ideas.
