Location: Cambridge Delivery Office, CB1 7QQ
Job type: Permanent contract
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday‑Sunday, 11:00‑19:00). Saturday and Sunday may be required per local rota.
Responsibilities
* Prepare the van and workload for the day.
* Use route‑planning technology to deliver parcels on time.
* Drive a multi‑drop route delivering parcels across the assigned area.
* Interact with customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail.
* Ensure safe and efficient delivery of parcels, upholding customer service standards.
Qualifications
* Upbeat, self‑motivated and thrive whilst working independently.
* Organised, punctual with great initiative.
* Committed to the delivery of great customer service.
* Comfortable interacting with customers.
* Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings.
* Enjoy a multi‑drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area.
* Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
