The Role
This is a pivotal hire. You will be the operational lead for MK Iconic’s Dubai office — the person who keeps projects on track, clients informed, subcontractors accountable, and the office running smoothly when our UK‑based director is not on the ground. You will own projects from signed contract through to client handover, and you will represent MK Iconic’s premium brand standard in every interaction. This role suits someone who is equally comfortable in a boardroom briefing a luxury client as they are on a construction site chasing a cabling schedule. Attention to detail, professionalism, and an ownership mentality are non‑negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
* Own day‑to‑day office operations — scheduling, logistics, procurement, supplier relationships, and site coordination.
* Manage projects from contract signature to practical completion and client handover, across residential and commercial sites.
* Maintain detailed project programmes using industry tools and ensure all milestones, deadlines, and budgets are met.
* Act as primary client‑facing contact on active projects — manage expectations, provide progress updates, resolve issues proactively.
* Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and installation engineers on site, ensuring work meets MK Iconic standards.
* Liaise with the Lead Systems Engineer to align technical delivery schedules with project timelines.
* Manage materials procurement — purchase orders, delivery tracking, stock management at the Dubai office.
* Report project status, costs, and risks to the Global Director on a weekly basis.
* Support business development by maintaining relationships with interior designers, developers, and main contractors.
* Ensure all works comply with Dubai regulatory requirements, building authorities, and client specifications.
* Support onboarding of new team members as the office grows.
Requirements
Essential
* 5+ years of experience in project management within AV, smart home, M&E, fit‑out, or luxury residential construction.
* Demonstrable experience managing client relationships at HNW / luxury level — presentation and communication skills must be exceptional.
* Strong commercial acumen — able to manage project budgets, track costs, and identify risks early.
* Experience working in Dubai or the wider GCC — understanding of local contractor culture, building processes, and client expectations.
* Valid UAE driving licence (or ability to obtain one quickly).
* Currently based in Dubai or willing to relocate immediately.
* Proficient with project management and scheduling tools (any platform).
Desirable
* Background in home automation, Control4, KNX, or similar smart home technologies.
* Existing relationships with Dubai‑based luxury developers, interior designers, or main contractors.
* Arabic language skills (client‑facing advantage, not essential).
* Experience using Zoho Projects or similar cloud‑based PM platforms.
