Supplier Purchaser - Administration – Haulage – Logistics - Burton
Brooklyn Recruitment are currently working with a Haulage / Logistics company based in the Burton-upon-Trent area of Staffordshire to recruit a Supplier Purchaser.
As Supplier Purchaser / Supplier Administrator you will be working alongside the Supplier Manager. You will be assisting with purchasing services from established suppliers. You will be negotiating capacity rates (set by the manager). You will also be monitoring supplier compliance to policies and performance targets.
To be suitable for this Supplier Purchaser’s role you should have previous administration experience within the freight / haulage sector, ideally from a purchasing role but that is not essential. You should be a good communicator and able to negotiate as well as having excellent administration skills.
