With more than 130 centres across England and Wales, we’re looking for a hard‑working individual to join our team as a Stadium Assistant at the Queensway Stadium.
Role Summary
The role of Stadium Assistant requires previous experience as a keyholder or within the leisure industry, leadership attributes, and experience in day‑to‑day operations of a facility. The candidate will be a team player and willing to help in all areas of the stadium.
Responsibilities
* Lead the day‑to‑day running of the centre to the highest standard, including lone working on site.
* Provide a safe environment for all staff and customers.
* Manage any issues which arise on shift.
* Ensure the team provides the best customer service.
* Follow company procedures such as unlocking/locking the premises, issuing floats/cashing up tills.
* Cover the DM role as and when required and take responsibility for the stadium facility.
* Assist with administrative support for the stadium's key operational functions including financial, health & safety, bookings, events and memberships.
* Support setting up sporting events (Athletics/Football and more).
* Deliver the daily operations of the venue to the highest standard.
* Provide a safe environment for staff and customers.
* Manage any issues on shift.
* Ensure excellent customer service.
* Follow company procedures: unlocking/locking premises, issuing floats/cashing up tills.
* Cover the DM role - drill and take responsibility of the stadium facility.
* Assist with administrative support for operational functions.
* Support sporting events (athletics, football etc).
* Welsh language skills are desirable.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a keyholder or in the leisure industry.
* Leadership attributes and ability to lead day‑to‑day centre operations.
* Understanding and application of health & safety procedures.
* Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
* Strong team‑player attitude.
* Willingness to work casually and adapt to schedule demands.
* Welsh language skills desirable.
