We have a fantastic Assistant Care Manager opportunity available at our state of the art Retirement Village, based in Coventry at Earlsdon Park Village.

The role

1. Role: Assistant Care Manager
2. Hours: 30 hours per week
3. Working 4 shifts a week / on a rota pattern/ required to work every other weekend.
4. Shifts are from 06.45-14.45 / 14.30-22.30.
5. Salary: £15.45 per hour
6. Location: Earlsdon Park Village, Albany Road, Coventry CV5 6JQ

What will you do as our Assistant Care Manager?

7. Manage a team of Care Assistants ensuring correct procedures are followed, and conduct their Annual Development and Interim Reviews
8. Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to our residents including both physical, personal care and support with social activities, and support or assist with medication
9. Develop, implement and maintain individual care and support plans, and carry out staff performance observations and medication audits
10. Support the Registered Manager with meeting CQC requirements including audit preparation
11. Provide residents and relatives with an effective communication network
12. Ensure residents are encouraged to reach their optimum level of independence
13. Ensure all administrative systems are implemented effectively

Our ideal Assistant Care Manager will have:

14. An NVQ / QCF Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or will work towards this qualification)
15. Experience in managing a team within a similar environment
16. Exceptional communication skills

This role would ideally suit an experienced Care Supervisor, Care Co-ordinator, Care Manager, Care Team Leader,or ExtraCare Housing Manager looking for a new challenge.
