Student Wellbeing Receptionist
£13.87 per hour + holiday pay | 35 hours per week
Temporary - ongoing (minimum 4 months)
We're looking for a Student Wellbeing Receptionist to join a busy Student Support and Wellbeing team. This is a front‑line administrative role, supporting students with queries and ensuring they're directed to the right services.
What you'll be doing:
Providing first‑point‑of‑contact support to students (in person and over the phone)
Responding to student queries and giving clear, accurate information
Logging mitigating circumstances and coursework extension requests accurately (Excel)
Drafting and sending sensitively worded emails using Outlook templates
Signposting and referring students to appropriate support services
Handling confidential information in line with GDPR
Working closely with colleagues across multiple teamsWhat we're looking for:
Strong written communication and attention to detail
Excellent organisation and ability to follow processes
Confidence using Excel and Outlook
Calm, professional, and approachable manner
Previous admin experience desirable
