With local teams nationwide, we combine simple, professional service with a values-led approach. We’re now looking for a Social Media Executive to help bring that story to life and grow our presence online.
The Role
As our Social Media Executive, you’ll be responsible for telling the Your Local story across platforms. From cleaner spotlights and customer testimonials to behind-the-scenes reels and employer brand content, you’ll help us attract new customers and new talent.
This is a brand new position with no existing team in place, so there’s plenty of room to grow, take ownership of your work, and help shape how the role develops over time.
Responsibilities
* Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more
* Plan and manage a content calendar
* Film, edit and publish short-form video content (e.g. Reels, TikToks)
* Collaborate with field teams to collect photos, stories, and footage
* Build and grow our employer brand by showcasing our team and culture
* Help shape our tone of voice and visual identity online
* Support recruitment campaigns with targeted social content
Requirements
* Proven experience in social media content creation (personal or professional)
* Confident using tools like Canva, CapCut, InShot, or Adobe Suite
* Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
* Able to edit short-form video quickly and creatively
* Passionate about people, branding, and building community online
* Self-starter with good organisation and time management
* Bonus: Experience with employer branding, recruitment marketing, or working with field-based teams
