Position Overview
The Managing Director of Operations is fully responsible for the organization and management of the company's daily operations and strategic execution. This role ensures the efficient allocation of corporate resources, the continuous optimization of operational processes, and the coordinated operation of various business departments, thereby improving overall operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability. This position serves as the core bridge between strategy formulation and front-line execution.
Main Responsibilities
1. Operational Strategy and Process Optimization
Formulate and implement the company's medium- and long-term operational strategies to ensure high consistency with the overall corporate strategy
Analyze existing processes and promote business process standardization, automation and optimization
Establish key operating indicators (KPIs), monitor them regularly and drive improvement plans
Lead digital operations transformation projects to improve organizational efficiency and responsiveness
1. Department Management and Organizational Coordination
Coordinate the company's major operational functions, including supply chain management, customer service, production, after-sales support, procurement, etc.
Promote cross-departmental communication mechanisms, break down information barriers, and improve collaboration efficiency
Manage and guide the middle management team to ensure team execution and talent development
1. Quality Control and Risk Management
Develop and monitor quality control systems to ensure services or products meet standards and regulations
Establish a risk early warning mechanism to proactively identify and manage operational risks
Review compliance processes to ensure that company operations comply with laws, regulations and industry requirements
1. Financial and Resource Management
Responsible for operating budget formulation and cost control to ensure reasonable and efficient operating expenditure
Optimize supply chain and procurement strategies to improve resource utilization and profit margins
Improve the efficiency of various operational resources such as fixed assets, warehousing, logistics, and human resources
1. Continuous Improvement and Innovation
Establish a culture of continuous improvement and promote the implementation of management tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S
Focus on industry trends and technological innovation, and promote the implementation of automated and intelligent operation models
Lead operational project management, including system implementation, process reengineering, expansion/integration plans, etc.
Job Requirements
Educational background
Bachelor degree or above in Business Administration, Engineering Management, Operations Management or related majors
MBA preferred
Work experience
At least 10 years of experience in business operations management, including more than 5 years of senior management experience
Have a comprehensive operational background in large or multinational companies and be familiar with the entire process from strategy to execution
Successful experience in driving complex cross-departmental projects
