Now, we're happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Trainee Property Manager. The salary on offer is £25,000 - £27,000.
Responsibilities
1. Overseeing the management of properties, administrative tasks, compliance matters, and inquiries.
2. Responding to communications from landlords and residents via email and phone.
3. Instruction, monitoring, and liaison with regular maintenance contractors.
4. Coordinating replacement furniture/fittings as authorised during the tenancy and acquisition of keys/fobs/remotes/permits.
5. Carrying out property inspections when due and following through with issues found during inspection.
6. Co-ordinating the deposit release process at the end of a tenancy.
7. Cultivating and nurturing robust connections with both landlords and tenants.
8. Efficiently coordinating property upkeep, repairs, and contractor services.
9. Overseeing and managing deposit negotiations and processes, ensuring they are conducted in strict accordance with company policies and procedures, maintaining professional standards at all times.
Qualifications & Attributes
1. No prior property management experience is required — full training and support will be provided.
2. A proactive and optimistic attitude, with strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration within a team.
3. Ability to efficiently organise and prioritise tasks and responsibilities.
4. Problem-solving capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and excellent telephone etiquette.
5. Computer proficiency and comfort with the software suite necessary for executing and overseeing daily tasks.
