Overview
Clinical Teaching Fellow in Paediatric Dentistry. This post will provide experience of teaching undergraduate dental students and develop your academic skills in Paediatric dentistry. It offers a unique opportunity for development as a clinical teacher. With a dental qualification, full GDC registration and relevant foundation/general professional training or equivalent, you will contribute to teaching students in the School’s undergraduate programme in Paediatric Dentistry and participate in the maintenance and further development of excellence in the quality of education within the School of Dentistry/Leeds Dental Institute. This may include dentists seeking further experience in Paediatric Dentistry prior to applying for a specialist training programme.
You will be located on the main University campus. Fixed term contract end date is 31 August 2027.
Responsibilities
* Clinical supervision of students
* Support for clinical audit and service evaluation projects
Qualifications
* Dental qualification with full GDC registration
* Relevant foundation/general professional training or equivalent
* Interest in Paediatric Dentistry and dental education; willingness to explore an academic career in Paediatric Dentistry
* This may include dentists seeking further experience in Paediatric Dentistry prior to applying for a specialist training programme
