We are looking to recruit a Finance Officer to join our successful Finance Team. HPFT is looking to recruit a highly adaptable, pro‑active individual to join our integrated finance team. The successful candidate will be part of the management accounts team, providing support to the Secondary Commissioning function.
You will be expected to ensure that the Secondary Commissioning team are processing invoices and making payments to suppliers in an organised and timely manner. You will have a strong focus on quality, understanding the importance of data quality and be able to adapt to the varying tasks that will form part of this role.
This role will be based at our Head Office at The Colonnades, Hatfield, AL108YE.
Main duties of the job
This role will involve processing invoices and checking information back to our patient record system and App to confirm all is correct before payments are made. Contacting other teams and suppliers if information doesn't match and managing such queries in a timely manner to resolution.
Providing Monthly self‑billing reports and initiating payments.

* ECDL basic level (or equivalent qualifications/experience of computer literacy)
Experience
* Experience in Financial Services function in NHS
Knowledge
* Experience in Financial Services function in NHS
* IT Skills - speed and accuracy essential.

£29,812 to £32,715 a year per annum, pro rata (inclusive of 5% HCAS)
