Job Description
This is an incredible opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to start a career in the leisure industry. After completing the required qualifications, you will primarily provide a quality swimming instructional programme for pre-school, school-aged children, and adults. You will learn to plan lessons tailored to individuals' needs to enhance their experience and facilitate progress in the programme. At Active Stirling, we have a team-first approach, so you will also earn your lifeguarding qualification and some coaching qualifications to support operations across The PEAK and gain invaluable experience in multiple environments.
Requirements
No previous training or qualification is required. We will put the right candidates through the required accredited training courses with a training agreement in place. You must be a competent and confident swimmer to complete the training courses. Applicants must be able to attend ALL the following training dates:
* Monday 11th August, Balfron High School, 10:00-19:00
* Tuesday 12th August, Balfron High School, 10:00-19:00
* Thursday 14th August, Balfron High School, 15:30-20:00
* Saturday 16th August, The Peak, 09:00-16:00
* Sunday 17th August, The Peak, 09:00-16:00
* Monday 18th August, Balfron High School, 15:30-20:15
* Tuesday 19th August, Balfron High School, 15:30-20:00
* Thursday 21st August, Balfron High School, 15:30-20:00
* Monday 1st September, Balfron High School, 15:30-20:00
* Tuesday 2nd September, Balfron High School, 15:30-20:15
* Thursday 4th September, Balfron High School, 15:30-20:00
Responsibilities
To plan and prepare quality swimming sessions, including lesson planning and evaluation. To support the delivery of membership activities and Holiday Club at The PEAK. Create a great experience for customers and team members.
