Overview of the role The role of the Domestic Assistant is to undertake a range of cleaning duties to a high standard throughout the home. The role of the Cook is to prepare and serve healthy balances meals to residents in our homes. You will oversee weekly budgets and shopping lists. On occasion you will work alongside other staff or residents in the kitchen making sure everyone’s safety is paramount. This service is provided by Witham Valley Care, our sister company in Lincoln. This residential service provides 24 hour care for 6 adults with a learning disability and/or autism and challenging behaviours. The home is situated in a fully converted and updated farmhouse. Village Farm has six individual en-suite bedrooms as well as communal space including a lounge, dining room and games room/ second lounge.
