We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our specialist SEND department as a Lead Learning Assistant – Vision Impairment Support. Bushey Meads School provides education for the full ability range of students, including those with varying degrees of visual impairment. We aim to recognise and meet individual student needs, interests, and abilities, encouraging independence, resilience, and positive life choices.

The post is for 37 hours per week (excluding unpaid breaks), term-time plus 1 week for 5 INSET days.
This is a fixed-term position until 31st August 2026, with potential for extension. The salary range is APT&C point 7-9 plus London fringe, paid pro-rata. Full-time salary is £25,584 to £26,409 per annum, plus £1,013 fringe; pro-rata is approximately £21,881 to £22,587 per annum, plus £866 fringe.
