Working collaboratively with colleagues, clients and external consultants, you will be involved throughout the planning lifecycle-from initial advice and early design to achieving consent and managing conditions.There will also be opportunities to support and take part in Planning Appeals and Local Plan Examinations.Key responsibilities include:Advising on development potential of land and buildingsSupporting the preparation of planning applications and appealsProviding policy advice and carrying out researchDrafting representations for consultations and Local Plan ExaminationsAssisting in identifying potential land opportunitiesWorking closely with clients and consultants to deliver high-quality developmentAbout YouRelevant qualification in Town Planning (or working towards one)RTPI membership or actively working towards chartershipStrong understanding of the planning process and planning systemExcellent written communication skills with strong attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional mannerMotivated, enthusiastic and able to work well within a team settingWhether you are a Planner ready to step up or an existing Senior Planner seeking a new challenge, we would be keen to hear from you.Agile Working & Additional InformationOur client promotes agile working and offers a blended approach to how and where you work.
