Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that our social media content aligns with our overall marketing goals and public relations efforts.
Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
* Create engaging content that resonates with our target audience while maintaining brand consistency.
* Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with broader marketing initiatives.
* Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
* Manage public relations efforts through social media by responding to inquiries and engaging with followers in a professional manner.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
Experience
* Proven experience in social media management or a related field is essential.
* Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply to social media.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Familiarity with analytics tools to measure performance and optimise content strategy.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
