Job Purpose
As a Solution Architect - Integration, you will be responsible for solution architecture and design of integration-related solutions and projects, contributing to integration strategy & architecture, and guiding the development and delivery of high-performance integration applications and frameworks to support strategic initiatives across all projects, releases, and enhancements.
The role involves collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and strategize system integration with other applications and technologies. Additionally, you will be responsible for detailed architecture, design, and governance of enterprise integration/middleware, providing procedures, policies, and guidelines to ensure project compliance with architecture principles.
Main Responsibilities
1. Provides solution architecture in the integration area, ensuring standards, policies, and procedures are met, including automation-driven integrations.
2. Contributes to and influences integration strategy and architecture, supporting high-performance, scalable, and automated frameworks.
3. Establishes and enforces architecture standards, best practices, and compliance with policies and regulations.
4. Maintains comprehensive documentation of architecture, designs, workflows, and processes.
5. Governs enterprise integration and middleware solutions, defining governance procedures and policies.
6. Collaborates with teams to identify requirements, translate into technical specs, and assess automation opportunities.
7. Designs and implements robust integration solutions, including API-driven and event-driven workflows.
8. Identifies risks, implements mitigation strategies, and ensures quality through automation and testing frameworks.
9. Evaluates infrastructure components, focusing on automation in deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
10. Works with cross-functional teams to align efforts with capacity planning, SLAs, and real-time monitoring.
11. Supports new POCs, automation technologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
12. Provides architectural direction, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and quality delivery.
13. Develops roadmaps and migration plans for business systems, focusing on automation and cost reduction.
14. Builds strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration and data exchange.
15. Leads and mentors external consultants, ensuring adherence to policies and best practices.
16. Provides technical leadership, motivation, and coaching to teams.
17. Communicates project updates to leadership, emphasizing automation benefits.
18. Maintains expertise in emerging technologies and automation trends.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
* English proficiency
Experience
* At least 8 years in IT systems integration, design, and deployment
* 3+ years in Integration Architecture in multi-platform environments
* Leadership experience in managing technical teams
* Experience with SAP and non-SAP integrations using various protocols
* Experience in international environments and the consumer product or logistics industry is advantageous
Technical Skills
* Deep understanding of process and data integration technologies
* Expertise in integration concepts, patterns, and middleware technologies (SAP BTP, webMethods, SAP DS, Datasphere, SAP PI/PO)
* Proficiency in SAP and Salesforce integration technologies
* Experience with protocols like REST, SOAP, JDBC, and automation in testing and deployment
* Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
