Waking Night Residential Support Worker
Location: Swindon
Salary: £13.50 Per Hour
Hours: Night shifts 10pm – 7am
Are you a calm, caring and reliable person who thrives at night? We're looking for a dedicated Waking Night Residential Support Worker to join our team and help provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for our young people while they sleep.
What you'll do:
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people throughout the night
* Provide emotional reassurance and practical support when needed
* Carry out regular welfare checks and record-keeping
* Complete household tasks to maintain a clean and homely environment
* Work closely with the day team to ensure smooth handovers and continuity of care
What we're looking for:
* Someone reliable, compassionate and able to stay alert throughout the night
* Good communication and listening skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately in challenging situations
* Experience in care, residential or support work is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
* A genuine passion for supporting people to feel safe, respected, and valued
