ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Admin Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll carry out a range of responsibilities to help us deliver the quality care and support our residents deserve. In this varied role, you'll answer the phone, handle our files and support our managers. You’ll also meet and greet visitors, engage with residents and show prospective clients and their families around so they can see what makes us so different. Across everything you do, you’ll go out of your way to help us create a vibrant, happy environment.
Responsibilities
* Answer telephone calls and manage correspondence and filing systems.
* Provide administrative support to managers and other staff as required.
* Greet visitors and assist residents, families and prospective clients in a professional, welcoming manner.
* Coordinate tours for prospective clients and families and contribute to a positive first impression of the home.
* Help maintain a tidy and organized reception and administrative area.
About You / Qualifications
* Ability to multi-task and use computers effectively.
* Confident telephone manner and good communication skills.
* People person who takes a genuine interest in residents and their families.
* Willingness to develop skills with courses designed to build confidence across responsibilities.
