The role is open only to colleagues currently employed by the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Southeast Integrated Care Boards, and current at-risk employees within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts.
The Financial Accountant – Treasury provides senior leadership and oversight for the delivery of a high quality Financial Services and Treasury function for the ICB. The postholder leads cash management, financial controls, reconciliations, invoice approval and payment processes, ensuring compliance with Standing Financial Instructions and national financial governance requirements. They support the production of statutory accounts, provide cover for the Financial Accountant (Technical), and contribute to the development of robust financial systems and processes. The role works autonomously with significant discretion, supporting the wider finance team to build capability, strengthen financial control and deliver value for money across the organisation.

Salary: £57,528 to £64,750 a year pro‑rata, per annum.
