We are recruiting a Housing Support Worker on behalf of a respected supported housing provider. This is a key role focused on preparing residents for independent living through tenancy support, skills development, and housing guidance. Key Responsibilities of a Housing Support Worker: Deliver tailored tenancy sustainment programmes to vulnerable individuals in a new 32 bed Unit. Support residents with practical life skills and engagement in independent living. Collaborate with housing providers, external agencies, and support services to sign post these individuals to the correct support. Manage housing-related administration including rent and assisting with housing benefits applications. What we' love to see from you: Experience in supported housing, tenancy sustainment, or housing management. Knowledge of welfare systems, housing legislation, and safeguarding principles. Excellent communication, organisation, and conflict resolution skills. Experience of providing tailored support to vulnerable individuals who are at risk of homelessness, suffering with drug and alcohol addiction or mental health issues.
