🌈 The Role:
As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide tailored support to children with special educational needs in Nursery and Reception
* Work 1:1 or in small groups to support social, emotional, communication, and learning development
* Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised learning plans
* Assist with adapting resources and activities to meet individual needs
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where all children can flourish
✅ You Will Need:
* Experience supporting young children with SEN in an early years setting
* Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and SEN strategies
* Patience, empathy, and a warm, nurturing approach
* Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
💡 Bonus if You Have:
* Early Years SEN training or relevant qualifications (CACHE Level 3 SEN, or equivalent)
* Knowledge of Makaton, PECs, or other communication tools
* Experience working with children with autism, speech & language needs, or SEMH
