Senior Payroll Specialist Job Overview:
This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of UK payroll, including collating inputs and ensuring timely sign off. Additional responsibilities include managing monthly pension/benefits enrolment data, processing flex benefit changes, and overseeing six European location payrolls.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Day-to-day administration of UK payroll, including collating inputs and ensuring timely sign off
2. Managing monthly pension/benefits enrolment data
3. Processing flex benefit changes
4. Overseeing six European location payrolls
5. Collaborating with other team members to cover payroll for Europe
6. Liaising with payroll providers on country-specific requirements and queries
7. Preparing and administering payroll funding within specified timeframes
8. Working with financial controllers to ensure international payments are correctly allocated
9. Post-payroll reporting
10. Supporting the set up of new branch payrolls as the business expands
11. Maintaining high levels of customer service and responding to employee queries
12. Responsibility for UK annual filing compliance (P11D, Form 42, PSA, STBV)
13. Responsibility for German annual filing compliance
14. Reviewing and proposing additional filing requirements and measures
15. Calculating tax due on stock vestings across the UK and EMEA region
16. Creating manuals and procedures for stock vesting activities
17. Manual calculations, checks, and submission of employee payments
18. Liaising with the HR team and serving as a point of contact for employee payroll queries
19. Maintaining and updating employment records
20. Running periodical and ad-hoc reports from the HR system
21. Project management on various ongoing and future cross-divisional projects
