Saxon Primary is a two-form entry primary school in Shepperton, Middlesex with a diverse catchment and a wonderful team spirit. Role opportunities
We are looking to recruit a number of Teaching Assistant positions, including full-time and part-time (mornings only) roles on a fixed term basis to 31st August 2026.
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for creating lifelong learners, committed to inclusion and equality and has a high expectation of themselves and every child.
Main duties and responsibilities: these are included in the attached job description along with a person specification giving details of the skills, qualifications and experience required for the roles.
Working hours
* Full time Teaching assistant – 30 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year), 8:30am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday.
* Part time (mornings only) Teaching assistant - 22.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year), 8:30am to 1:15pm, Monday to Friday.
These roles are a fixed term position for 1 year to 31st August 2026. Please state on the application which role is your preference.

Salary and dates
Salary: PS3 FTE £24,330 (Pro rata £13,082 for the part time role and £17,442 for the full-time role)
