An exciting opportunity is now available to strengthen the existing workforce and to promote and enhance the Operational Estates Team.
Your base will be Salford Royal Hospital where you will carry out plumbing repairs and planned maintenance, breakdown maintenance and diagnosing faults including a degree of new installation work.

Main duties of the job
In addition to the above you will work to plumbing systems including pipeline, water tanks and various sanitary fixtures and fittings, remedial roof repairs and various equipment items as managed by the Estates Department. Many of the repairs will need to be attended to urgently.
You are required to carry out maintenance of complex systems including Heating and DHW systems, pressurised systems, water systems, tanks, rainwater systems, building management systems, plant and equipment contained within the theatres and throughout the hospital and peripheral sites. You will be required to partake in a hospital site on-call system after a familiarisation period and overtime may be available, both enabling a boost to earning potential.
You will have a minimum NVQ 2 Plumbingqualification (City & Guilds) or equivalent and proven post apprenticeship experience.
