Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various fitting tasks, including the ability to read and interpret schematics, and work with power tools. The Fitter will be responsible for fabricating and building components, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
* Interpret and follow technical drawings and schematics to assemble components accurately.
* Fabricate and build structures using various materials, including metal and wood.
* Operate power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
* Perform welding tasks as needed to ensure structural integrity.
* Conduct painting and plastering tasks to finish surfaces to a high standard.
* Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are stored correctly.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
* Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
* Strong skills in plumbing,tiling,carpentry and using power tools.
* Ability to fabricate components according to specifications.
* Knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous but not essential.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Most of our bathrooms are done using pvc wall panels and are easily completed in 5 days .
All work is on price on job to job basis .
Pay: £197.33-£216.12 per day
Work Location: On the road
