Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Voyage Education Partnership for a Family Support Worker to be based at Boston Pioneers Academy.
Responsibilities
* To act as a point of contact in the academy for families in need of support.
* To manage, implement and review any support strategies in place for families who have children attending the academy.
* To help identify, and address the needs of children and families who need help to overcome barriers to learning (including attendance).
* To help families in the support of their child’s learning and well-being.
* To support parents in developing resilience and independence in accessing support and participating in school and community life (building social capital).
* To manage and coordinate a SAFeh caseload with the support of the DSL, DDSL & SENDCO/Inclusion Lead.
* To reduce the academy’s absence levels for key vulnerable pupils.
* This is a permanent position that requires the successful candidate to work 37 hours per week, term time only.
