Join Our Team as an Accounting Specialist!
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of finance? In this role, you will dive deep into our Golden Processes, ICE controls standards, and general accounting principles to ensure compliance across all accounting and reporting processes.
Your Mission:
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our local, statutory, and corporate reporting processes are not only timely and effective but also fully compliant with local tax and legal requirements. Your expertise will help us maintain local accounting standards in line with both local and group requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ownership of O2C Process: Manage invoicing, sales credits, price changes, promotional activities, trade terms, and off-invoice discounts, ensuring accurate representation in both local and corporate reporting.
* Closing Processes: Oversee periodic, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, producing reports for Royal Canin headquarters and Mars Inc, as well as local reporting, including Intrastat.
* Account Reconciliation: Perform reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and manage period-end control activities, including oversight of Blackline reconciliation.
* Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy of financial results through the integrity of accounting data and systems, working within a robust controls environment.
* Audit Support: Provide data for internal and external auditors, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
* Governance Leadership: Drive the governance agenda within your functional area, including the rollout and maintenance of the Internal Controls Excellence (ICE) framework.
What We’re Looking For:
* Educational Background: A university degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential.
* Language Skills: Fluency in another language is a plus, but not required.
