About This Role
We are seeking a highly ambitious Head of Maths for our Senior Site, committed to developing an outstanding Maths Department and fostering numeracy and a love of learning in our expanding school, recently rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted.
The successful candidate will help establish the direction for teaching, learning, and assessment in Maths and numeracy, aligned with our whole-school pedagogical strategy of knowledge-based learning. The goal is to set high expectations, ensuring all students achieve excellent outcomes and flourish in a nurturing environment.
This role offers opportunities for departmental leadership and whole-school responsibilities, providing valuable experience for career progression either within Maths leadership or towards Senior Leadership. For suitable candidates, there is potential for a role within the senior team with whole-school leadership responsibilities.
