The Role
Kinross College is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator - Student Services. This pivotal role will focuses on tracking student progress, promoting wellbeing, and working closely with the Associate Principal to ensure every student is supported in their academic and personal journey.
Responsibilities would include:
1. Monitor and track attendance, academic progress, and engagement of senior students
2. Provide proactive and responsive wellbeing support
3. Collaborate with teaching staff, Heads of Department, and leadership to identify and address student needs
4. Assist in the development and implementation of student support plans
5. Maintain accurate records using Chronicle and other school systems
6. Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
The successful applicant should ideally have:
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
8. Experience in student services, pastoral care, or a related field
9. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
10. A genuine passion for supporting young people
11. Familiarity with school systems such as Compass and attendance tracking tools is desirable
It is highly desirable that applicants are committed to working with students to differentiate curriculum to support individualised improvement and extension. The ability to adapt with and utilise technology within the learning area would be highly regarded. An understanding of the Compass software would be beneficial.
