Overview

We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our fashion store team in Llanelli.

This is a full‑time position (35 hours per week) on a fixed‑term contract.


Responsibilities

* Support the Store Manager with the day‑to‑day running of the store and take full responsibility in their absence.
* Inspire and support staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects our values.
* Ensure the highest standard of customer service, achieve targets, and maintain a high standard of visual merchandising.
* Maximise sales through physical and digital channels.
* Support recruitment and development of volunteers.
* Achieve expectations within campaign activities.
* Work with the manager to generate stock.
* Operate in a fast‑paced environment, working weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
* Assist with physical handling of donated items while maintaining a safe and rewarding environment.


Qualifications

* Experience in a customer‑facing role.
* Supervisory experience.
* Commercially driven, encouraging new ideas.
