A growing manufacturing company based in Lisburn is currently seeking a Dual Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on maintenance position within a well-established production environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving, and keeping production running efficiently. The position operates on a day shift only basis with a 4-day working week, offering a strong work-life balance.
The Role
* Carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on production equipment
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across machinery and plant
* Complete welding and fabrication work where required to support equipment repairs
* Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and maintain output
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving reliability and efficiency
* Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with health and safety standards
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance work carried out
The Person
* Time-served Maintenance Engineer or relevant engineering qualification
* Dual skilled experience (Mechanical and Electrical) within a manufacturing environment
* Welding experience is essential
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Experience maintaining production machinery
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
