Position: Static Maintenance Electrician
Location: Morpeth, Northumberland
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Holidays: 25 holidays per year + Bank Holidays
Are you a skilled Maintenance Electrician looking for a new challenge within a leading Facilities Management (FM) business?
We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious FM client seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician. This role offers a competitive salary, generous benefits, and opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities
* Routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems (e.g., distribution boards, lighting, machinery, and equipment).
* Fault-finding and troubleshooting of electrical issues that may arise across the site.
* Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards (18th Edition, etc.).
* Responding to and addressing any electrical faults or breakdowns promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the site's operations.
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on equipment to avoid future issues.
* Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
* Must hold a current 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification.
* Successful completion of a recognised electrician qualification (NVQ Level 3).
* Successful completion of an electrician apprenticeship or have equivalent.
* Overall 5 years of experience in facilities management.
* Driving Licence.
* Need to pass Level 3 MOJ checks - intensive vetting that can take up to 8 weeks.
