Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known company based in the Sittingbourne, Kent area who are looking for a highly skilled Environmental Adminto join their team.
Purpose of the Job - Environmental Admin:
1. To respond to environmental service requests and statutory duties relating to anti-social behaviour issues such as nuisance, insecure buildings, fly tipping (and other waste related offences), unauthorised encampments, untidy land, pest control etc.
2. To be the initial contact for the departmental service requests, representing the department with customer focus, intel and evidence gathering such as taking photographs to assist with investigations, to support potential offences and to determine and follow up on the appropriate enforcement warden or officer for further action. Update case management software with detailed and accurate notes.
3. This may include producing warning letters, Notices or preparing case files to a suitable standard for judicial action as well as attending court when required to support the enforcement officers.
4. To keep detailed and factual audit trails, stored on the case management system to assist enforcement action. Write reports making appropriate observations and recommendations.
5. To build sound working relationships with key partners such as the police, other Local Authorities, Housing Associations and the Environment Agency.
