Manager, International Tax – Corporate Transaction Tax
Join our International Transaction Tax Service (ITTS) as part of the Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions tax team. The role involves advising large, multinational clients on M&A transactions and delivering complex transaction tax projects.
The opportunity
Gain wide‑ranging experience across the full deal cycle – tax structuring, sell‑side and buy‑side due diligence, funds flows, SPA reviews and refinancings. You will develop technical UK and international tax skills and a commercial understanding of clients’ needs in a deal context.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of technically complex transaction tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical business focus.
* Pursue business development opportunities.
* Provide coaching, supervision and mentoring to junior team members.
* Contribute to people initiatives, including staff retention and training.
* Play a significant role in managing strategy, operations and junior staff development.

Qualifications
* ACA/Law qualification or equivalent tax specialist qualification or breadth of knowledge.
* Strong tax technical and project delivery skills.
* Business‑development experience.
* Coaching and developing junior staff.
* Knowledge of tax elements of mergers and acquisitions helpful but not required.
