Contentious Probate Solicitor – Cardiff
TSR Legal are currently working with a leading law firm with a strong reputation for private client and dispute resolution work is seeking a Contentious Probate Solicitor to join its growing team in Cardiff.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with experience in contentious probate, litigation, or private client matters to develop their career within a specialist and highly regarded practice area. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced practitioners on a broad range of complex and high-value inheritance and trust disputes.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing a caseload of contentious probate matters from instruction through to resolution.
* Advising clients on disputes relating to the validity of wills, estate administration, trusts, and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.
* Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court applications.
* Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings where required.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships and delivering an exceptional standard of service.
* Supporting business development and networking activities to further enhance the team's profile.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Qualified Solicitor status in England and Wales.
* Experience in contentious probate, civil litigation, or property litigation.
* Excellent communication and client care skills.
* Strong organisational and case management abilities.
* A proactive and commercially minded approach.
