Utilise your passion and experience in Nursing to teach students at Charles Darwin University (CDU)


About the Position

As the Associate Lecturer (Nursing), you will be involved in various teaching opportunities within the School of Nursing, Faculty of Health at Charles Darwin University. This will include simulation teaching, clinical facilitation, teaching within course units and marking. You will also be assisting academic staff in the delivery of core units and curriculum review.


About You

* Postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical specialty or education or research.
* Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
* Relevant experience in teaching and learning within the healthcare industry.
* Sound knowledge and understanding of the discipline of nursing gained through industry experience and/or scholarly activities or similar.
* Ability and willingness to contribute to unit/program resource and development within the context and requirements of a quality education provider.
* Excellent professional teamwork and communication skills, including oral, written, information communication technology (ICT) and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and use flexible/online computer-based learning materials to suit the needs of a diverse student body.
* Demonstrated commitment to applying culturally respectful, inclusive and safe practices in the workplace
* Significant progress towards completion and a commitment to undertake further study in Honours / Masters / PhD.
* Experience in Higher Education teaching, curriculum development, unit coordination, formation of student assessments and evaluation of units and courses.

Remuneration

Appointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level A. The base salary will be in the range of $76,604.18 to $114,924.35 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $89,626.89 to $134,461.08 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
