Overview
We are recruiting for a Finance Team Supervisor to join a dynamic projects team based in Leeds. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations that support key works and projects. This will involve budgeting managing, invoicing and closing open projects.
Responsibilities
* Conduct regular one to ones, appraisals, and mid-year reviews.
* Approve annual leave, monitor absence, and support staff wellbeing. Ensure compliance with company policies and manage day-to-day team administration.
* Maintain compliance with company policies around financial approvals and risk.
* Monitor and expedite invoicing to ensure timely revenue recognition.
* Liaise with Project Managers for project-related financial support.
* Provide support for audit processes, reconciliations, and reporting.
* Support wider business needs by deputising for the Project Finance Manager as required.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven leadership experience; Team Leader level
* Strong understanding of finance process, revenue recognition, and forecasting.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to train, explain, and influence.
* Able to work independently while supporting team success.
* Flexible and professional approach to business needs.
